Patient Care Coordinator/Front Office Administrator

We are currently seeking a full-time Patient Care Coordinator/Front Office Administrator for our cosmetic dental practice in Craig, Colorado. This position requires a highly motivated team member with a strong grasp of customer service skills. The right candidate will exhibit professional behaviors and problem solving skills. Must be willing to cover certain clinical aspects within the practice when/as needed (cross train)

Most importantly: He or she must be patient, understanding and act as a pleasant and welcoming presence in the office.

Responsibilities and Duties

Under the direction of management, this position will be responsible for assuring that the needs of the practice & patients are met as it relates to their job description.
An example of responsibilities include:

  • Participate in day-to-day operations of dental office.
  • Open and close dental office according to office protocol set by management.
  • Work under the direction of the Office Manager in maintaining the internal business operations.
  • Assisting management in assuring the practice’s compliance with federal, state and safety regulations.
  • Implementing marketing strategies as directed by management.
  • Working respectfully and cooperatively with management, staff, patients, and vendors; handling escalated patient and team issues as needed.
  • Answer and respond to telephone calls with professionalism.
  • Greet and welcome patients and visitors to the practice.
  • Confirm appointments.
  • Submit treatment plans for predetermination of benefits.
  • Present treatment options to patients.
  • Assist management in tasks related to accounts receivable and receiving.
  • Crosstrain in the basic clinical aspects of the practice.
  • And any other administrative delegations made by management.

Dental Hygienist

We are currently looking to hire a Dental Hygienist to our cosmetic dental practice in Craig, Colorado.  If you’re a highly motivated individual with excellent clinical and interpersonal skills, Voyich and Voyich Dental Arts is an ideal place to grow your career.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform dental hygiene services and procedures, including dental prophylaxis, scaling, fluoride and sealants, and root planning
  • Complete a thorough assessment of the patient’s teeth, bone, and periodontal tissues, and document any abnormalities or suspected conditions
  • Customize care to meet patient’s oral health
  • Educate patients on good oral hygiene techniques
  • Aid the dentist with procedures and emergencies as needed
  • Maintain patient confidentiality
  • Provide all care in conjunction with accepted professional dental practices and standards

Qualifications 

  • Graduate of an accredited school of dental hygiene
  • Registered Dental Hygienist licensure in the State of Colorado
  • Current CPR certification
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proven dedication to provide high quality, comprehensive dental care
  • Ability to comply with safety procedures, rules, and regulations in order to maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Strong working knowledge of dental terminology, equipment, and practices

Dental Assistant

We are currently looking to hire a Dental Assistant to our cosmetic dental office in Craig, Colorado.  The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and have exceptional clinical and interpersonal skills.  A patient, caring and welcoming personality is a must. 

Responsibilities and Duties

Under the direction of management, this position will be responsible for assuring that the needs of the practice & patients are met as it relates to their job description.

Regulations vary from state to state as to what duties a dental assistant is allowed to perform, but they may include the following:

  • Sterilizing dental instruments and equipment for each patient
  • Organizing and laying out instruments for dentist’s use
  • Handing instruments and other materials to dentist during procedures
  • Taking x-rays of patients’ teeth
  • Taking impressions of patients’ teeth for casts
  • Using suction and swabs to keep patients’ mouths clear and dry during procedures
  • Applying topical anesthetic to patients’ mouths
  • Removing stitches
  • Make temporary crowns
  • Obtaining patients’ dental records
  • Questioning patients about their medical history and recording the information for dentist’s reference
  • Advising patients on dental care
  • Making patients feel comfortable before, during and after dental treatment
  • Scheduling appointments, maintaining records, sending bills, answering phones, ordering supplies and other office tasks
